Interstate trips do require pre-payment of the tune, this is simply to ensure your booking will go ahead and that we can then put the expenses into flights etc. We hope you can understand.

We are pleased to release our updated ECU 'Stage 1' tune for the GWM Cannon. Our original tune has been greatly enhanced for us allowing great increases in power and driveability.

Stage 1 $950

Our base engine tune delivering great results with overall power and throttle delivery.

Stage1+Transmission $1100

This is our Stage 1 tune but enhanced and more refined,  with an added transmission tune.

This will drastically improve the transmission gear changing, resulting in sleek and smooth changes as well as resulting in a better optimised response to the throttle.

This tune will allow the transmission to respond to your foot and not to a predefined set of rules (as is the case from factory). Want to take off rapidly? Put your foot down and it will drop down the gears depending on actually conditions of driving, want to drive along at a set speed and hold in the perfect gear for the conditions? Then it will respond to this too.

Gears will hold longer when required, gears will change faster when required. Also improves the cruise control operation (cruise system in the Cannon will still drop speeds during uphill climbs). Works on all models including XSR

Need a little more power? Sick of the 'turbo/throttle' lag*? then this tune will suit you.

This tune will give an increase on both KW/HP and Nm and is a safe and conservative increase with no physical mods required.

Our service includes a safe, cloud based storage of your original ECU files if you ever wish to revert to stock for any reason.

Before purchasing please send us a message with your location and any accessories installed on the vehicle, for example snorkel, air box etc.

This ECU tune will not cause any DTC/fault codes to display.

Our ECU tunes are not from an online website source, we do not use a basic/online pre purchased tunes which are from some well known European companies.

Will it VOID my new car warranty?* Under the Consumer Law, a dealership or manufacturer cannot simply “void” the warranty of a vehicle. They can REFUSE warranty – HOWEVER, this can only be done if, via unwaivering evidence, they can PROVE that the custom dyno tune/modifications were the cause of the problem.So contrary to how a dealer representative may inform you; a custom dyno tune/ECU remap will NOT void new car warranty

If we are travelling interstate to you, prepayment of the tune must be performed 4 days prior to your booking (unless otherwise discussed)

*Throttle lag is greatly improved but will not 'disappear'. We must state this as the throttle lag is influenced by a variety of items.

*Cruise control is improved, but on long/steep inclines there is still a chance of the speed drop issue known to the Cannons

*If a dealer or third party re-write your ECU, we can offer a re-tune service for $250. Only 1 re-tune per customer is available. 

Maximum achievable results. End result performance can be affected by certain elements which will slightly change the end goal number. I.e. altitude, humidity, general weather... No dyno pre or post are performed on the stage 1 tune.

^$200 deposit is non refundable if the booking is cancelled or postponed by the customer. If, however, Forbidden Gearhouse need to cancel or postpone, the deposit will be refunded in full.
